– Active Ingredient: Thiamethoxam 24% (w/v)
– A systemic insecticide belonging to the Neonicotinoid group.
– Use as a foliar or soil spray.
– A systemic fungicide that has a wide contact and stomach action. Very effective against the following insects:
1- Sucking insects such as: whitefly, thrips, mealybugs, and aphids.
2- Chewing insects such as: beetles, trees borer, cutworms, leaf miner , and hoppers.

‘-Certain and distinct efficacy in controlling insect strains that have acquired resistance against other chemical groups. As:
– It works in a new and unique way of effect, as it stops the chemical nerve communication
between endings Nerve cells within the nervous system are at sites that other insecticidal
compounds do not act upon from different chemical groups.
– It acts as a stimulant for the acetylcholine receptors on target insects, thus causing injury to the nervous system and leads to paralysis of the insect and its inability to feed, walk and fly. Thus, the insect dies.
– Symptoms begin to appear 15 minutes after treatment.
-Affects all stages of insect (larva, pupa (the transition phase from larva to adult insect), nymph and adult) except for the egg phase.
-It is rapidly absorbed from all parts of the plant, including: seeds (cotyledons), buds, newly grown leaves and pollen grains and is characterized by its rapid transfer in xylem and phloem (the vascular tissue in plants).
-systemically effective when added to soil with irrigation water to control all the above-
mentioned insects.
-Produce a crop free from viral diseases and obtain strong and perfect vegetative growth with
high yield and high quality.
-It has a long effect after treatment and has low application rates compared to other pesticides.
-Should be sprayed in the early stages of insect infestation.
-The efficiency of the pesticide is not affected by temperature and humidity differences, and it is
not washed with rainwater.
-Suitable for an integrated pest management program (IPM).
-Flexibility to use with various sprinklers or in drip or watering networks.
-Safety for people and the environment.
-Mild to moderate toxicity to most beneficial insects and is safe for Predacious mites according to the IOBC classification under field conditions.
Notes:
1- Can cause an allergy to some varieties of Chinese lettuce.
2- Not recommended to spray during the flowering period.
3- It is advised to exchange the spray with other pesticides with a different active ingredient of
action if several sprays are needed in one season.
