ASTRACHEM owns several manufacturing facilities located in both Saudi Arabia, Eastern Province and in Turkey: Nigde – Bor  “ASTRANOVA“.

SAUDI ARABIA:
We are proud of our ultra-modern plant which applies the latest technology in fertilizers and pesticides production. Two factories, sprawling over an area of 34,000 m², are located in Dammam 2^nd Industrial City in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. We maintain the highest standards of professionalism by employing a well trained, highly qualified and experienced team of 300 multinational employees. The facilities have seven production and packaging lines and one powder filling line:

Agrochemicals:
Suspension Concentrate (SC) production line: A complete production and filling facility for the production of insecticides and fungicides in addition to water based agrochemicals in addition to Public Health Pesticides (Annual Capacity: 3,000 MT).
Insecticide / Fungicide production line: For the production of insecticides and fungicides in the form of Emulsion Concentrates (EC), Ultra Low Volume (ULV) and Soluble Liquid (SL) formulations. It includes two automatic filling lines: one line for filling 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0 liter packs and the other for filling 5, 10, 20 and 25 liter packs. (Annual Capacity: 5,000 MT).
Herbicide production line: Similar to the insecticide/fungicide production line. However, to avoid any cross-contamination of products, the herbicide and insecticide equipment and facilities are completely separated. This line includes two semi-automatic filling lines, which are used for filling 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 5.0, 10.0, 20.0 and 25.0 liter packs. (Annual Capacity: 5,000 MT).

Fertilizers:
Granular Fertilizers Plant: A fully automated state of the art facility that was recently built in 2013 for chemically blended Granular NPKs and organic fertilizers. It is considered the largest for its category in MENA area (Annual Capacity: 110,000 MT).
Soluble Powder Fertilizer blending line: Computer operated production line for soluble powder blends, which may include up to six different components and eight micro-elements. This line is capable of packing blends in different sized bags. (Annual Capacity: 50,000 MT).
Fluid Fertilizer production line: A production line for both liquid and suspension formulas. It is equipped with a fluidizing system to produce high quality liquid and suspension fertilizers. The packaging line of this unit can be used to pack liquid and suspension fertilizers in 1.0 – 25.0 liter packs. (Annual Capacity: 3,000 MT/year).
Powder filling line: A line for re-packing powder agrochemical formulations.

TURKEY:
ASTRANOVA plant took the lead to be the first to synthesis Glyphosate technical material in the area. It is currently equipped with the traditional WP and EC formulation lines producing quality pesticides and plant growth regulators in addition to a new modern plant that was built in 2011 and equipped with modern production lines such as Water Dispersible Granules (WDG), Soluble Concentrates (SC) and Soluble Emulsions (SE). This plant will also pave the way for producing modern formulations such as effervescent tablets for Glyphosate, Acetamiprid and others.
